About us

Salsita was open in 1999 in Ebisu,Tokyo to introduce “real” Mexican food”, which is much different from Tex-Mex type of food or fast-food tacos. The place was rather hole in the wall space, but quickly gained popularity for the natural, yet tasty food and drinks. We don’t use any MSG or chili powder. We use natural condiments and chili peppers brought from Mexico.

 

Salsita moved to more spacious current place at Hiroo in 2007. At new restaurant, we serve not only typical Mexican food, but also unique regional dishes and interesting fusion of Japanese ingredients and Mexican spices.

 

Salsita also boasts wide variety of premium tequilas and mescals.
